I'm trying to do a bit of catch up on my Project Life album. This is week 7 and 8, which is now 3-4 weeks ago. Note to self - I do NOT like trying to remember what happened that far back, so get it done straight away!
Week 7 (11th-17th February): This was the week of winter holidays here in Denmark and Christian's birthday. We spent the week playing, creating, and giving Alexander a new bedroom. We also got a new kitchen bench (yay!).
In case you're wondering, it was also the week of Valentine's Day, but we don't usually celebrate it. Firstly, it's not a big deal here in Denmark, and secondly, it's the day before Christian's birthday. I only have so much creative energy for event planning, you know! Another highlight was going to see Disney on Ice with Faster Marianne. The kids enjoyed it, especially Isabel, who just loves Mickey - and no other! Not even the princesses were interesting. She just kept asking when Mickey was coming back!

We also had an unexpected visit from our good friend, Gunn-Mari, who we used to work with in Norway. Such a lovely surprise! We rounded off the week with a visit to Christian's grandmother, who is starting to be noticeably old (she is almost 93, after all!). Although it was a little difficult for her with the noise of the children, they still enjoyed being together, and it's lovely to see how much joy there is in generations meeting.

I'm linking up with the Mom Creative, so head over for more Project Life inspiration. See you next week!

DeleteWonderful layouts! Disney on Ice looks like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm awful at staying caught up, so I have a little weekly calendar where I can jot down little bits and pieces of my day.
Sounds like a good idea! I have a little journal, I just keep forgetting to write in it! :)
DeleteLovely Fi, especially all your journalling. :)

Thanks Ronnie. It's nice to remember the details!
DeleteLooks like a lovely winter holiday. Lucky you with a new kitchen bench! I know exactly what you mean about only having so much creative energy at any one time. I have to pace myself with holidays and birthdays too.
