I'm loving the way Isabel (Mickey) put her hand in her pocket every time it was her turn to hit the barrel and Alexander busting out his best Ninjago moves! That picture of Isabel above is her singing into the mirror with the soap as her microphone...too funny! I think it is a bit weird to rub out so many faces, but I think it's better to respect the privacy of those kids, so...just go with it.
I found it a bit challenging with all these photos of kids and colours and chaos, from three different celebrations. I had to pull out some photos and replace it with some calmer images, but I'm happy with the balance I ended with...not TOO overwhelming, but still a good representation of our week. Funnily enough, bright coloured cards worked better than neutrals! The Noted card and six card (recoloured) are from Miss Tiina's Everyday pack (you can see that I'm a huge fan!) and the title card and celebrate today card are from the Seafoam Kit. I lowered the opacity on the title card as the yellow was just too bright. The cute camera is a brush by Amy Tangerine's Ready Set Go Collection.

This is a really fun spread, so cheery with all the fun color :) My 2 1/2 year old daughter is OBSESSED with "Toodles" (AKA Mickey Mouse) -- she would so love to dress up as him, what a cute idea! It looks like the kids had a lot of fun dressing up and getting treats!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelsey. They sure did enjoy it! We don't really celebrate Halloween here, so this is the dress up event of the year! My girls love Mickey's Clubhouse, so Mickey was the ONLY option. Good thing it's an easy costume to make!
DeleteVery cute layout, I love all the photos & your colors are so cute & cheerful! That title card is absolutely adorable :)
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Project Life Tuesday,

Thanks Linda, and welcome!
DeleteWow! I loved hearing about your Fastelavn traditions. I have never heard of this way of celebrating Carnival. I think your layout turned out perfect - great balance of colorful photos and places to rest the eyes. And the date card is adorable - I love the camera graphic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Margie :)
DeleteLove this layout and your bright photos. I think it balanced out really nicely.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue. Balance is always nice!
DeleteNice pages! Looks like a fun celebration.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteSuper flot. Kan rigtigt godt li' de mange "action-billeder". Børn med fuld knald på. Herligt. Altså, vi andre brugte hårbørster og sang foran spejlet - en sæbe kan jo også bruges :) Herligt billede.
ReplyDeleteTak for inspirationen!
